This momentous occasion commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, a document that laid the foundation for the freedoms we enjoy today. One such symbol is “The Eagle,” a striking bronze sculpture created in 1978 by Timothy Maslyn. Timothy crafted The Eagle to honor his own family members who served in the United States Armed Forces, spanning from the Civil War through the Vietnam War.
