Tribute to the Unborn

The monument, commissioned by the Knights of Columbus, Somerville, was presented to St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church in Bridgewater, New Jersey. It was officially dedicated on October 11, 2009, and has since served as a place of quiet reflection, comfort, and spiritual healing.

The artist, Timothy Maslyn, a member of the Somerville Council, donated his creative talents to this meaningful and heartwarming project representing the unconditional love of God. He began the process by sculpting a maquette — a clay model that served as a visual and structural guide for the monument. This careful step ensured that the final artwork would faithfully reflect the emotion and purpose behind it.
